Bicyclists send up an automatic red flag when I am behind the wheel. Usually the typical scene with me is the bicyclist that is riding on a sidewalk in the wrong direction. The light changes and there he appears, right in front of your car as you are about to step on the gas. How many times has that happened to you? Yesterday one was hit by a car and he was riding his bike per the laws...still got hit and then backed over again! In serious condition, he is expected to survive. He was riding on A1A near our beach. The Sheriff caught the driver swimming near our Pier.
