The manifesto is 1,052 words of left-wing radicalization dressed up as moral clarity. Allen declared he was "no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor" to continue in office.

He attended "No Kings" rallies in California and was affiliated with a group called The Wide Awakes – a network of radical activists.

His social media was saturated with anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric. His own sister told investigators he had a tendency to make radical statements and constantly referenced a plan to do "something" to fix what he saw wrong with the world.

That language – the dehumanization, the call to resistance, the framing of political opponents as criminals who deserved what was coming – didn't come from nowhere.

  • He read it in mainstream outlets.
  • He watched cable news hosts spend years telling their audiences that Trump was a fascist, a traitor, and an existential threat to democracy.
  • Allen just took them at their word.
Watch how fast the conversation shifts from "left-wing radicalization" to security failures, mental health, and gun policy. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt put it plainly: Allen "sought to assassinate the President and kill as many top Trump administration officials as possible."

I'm absolutely shocked that a guy who is accused of trying to kill someone else didn't like that other person. It doesn't make sense.
