Man arrested for House fire and burning dog

Lake Worth Beach man accused of starting house fire with gasoline, burning roommate’s dog

A roommate stomped out flames twice Sunday after deputies say a man doused their home in gasoline, reignited the fire, and burned a dog’s stomach.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to a home at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday for reports of a man attempting to light a fire.

Upon arrival, deputies say they spoke with a man who said his roommate, late identified as 31-year-old Schnider Annoual, had poured gasoline on the bottom floor of the house and set it on fire.

Law enforcement then made contact with Annoual at the front door, where an "overbearing odor" of gasoline was emitting from the home and Annoual's body.
