Sunset 12-14-25

During a June appearance on NBC's Meet the Press, Schiff delivered a sermon about America's dangerous political climate.

"We have seen over the last eight or ten years this proliferation of political violence against members of both parties," Schiff told host Kristen Welker. "And I think one thing that has really contributed to it is the coarsening of the political dialogue, the way that people refer to their political opponents, the ad hominem nature of the attacks, the flirtation with violence."

Schiff blamed Trump specifically for encouraging "these reprehensible acts" through his rhetoric.

The California Senator positioned himself as the voice of reason, calling on all political figures to "acknowledge on both sides of the aisle the need to bring about a more civil discourse."

It was a powerful performance from a man who spent his entire career trying to destroy Donald Trump. Schiff spent years weaponizing his position to attack Trump with the most incendiary rhetoric imaginable.

Schiff actively worked to delegitimize and destroy Trump's presidency through accusations designed to make half the country believe their President was a foreign agent. [247Politics.net]

The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Good Night, Patriots!

What is truly breathtaking is the fact that an election denier who supports the attempted violent overthrow of a free and fair election on J6 is so lacking in self reflection that she is accusing someone of the same behavior she has been engaged in for years.

What is breathtgaking is all you Democrats who still want to talk about Jan 6.
An “insurrection,” or violent overthrow of a free and fair election as yiu claim, as the dictionary will tell you, is a violent uprising against a government or other established authority. Unlike the violent riots that swept the country in the summer of 2020—riots that caused some $2 billion in property damage and claimed more than 20 lives—the January 6 protest at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. lasted a few hours, caused minimal damage, and the only person directly killed was an unarmed female Trump supporter who was shot by a Capitol Police officer. It was, as Tucker Carlson said shortly after the event, a political protest that “got out of hand.”

At the rally preceding the events in question, Donald Trump had suggested that people march to the Capitol “peacefully and patriotically”—these were his exact words—in order to make their voices heard. He did not incite a riot; he stirred up a crowd.

Keep making excuses, Lynn. It doesn't matter. History will always reference the photos and videos of that day, including Trump's call to "fight, fight, fight," and make note of the MAGAs who denied that history and made excuses for the insurrectionists. You'll be in the latter group and remembered as one of those who turned their back on America on that day. You'll have lots of company, for sure, but you all stopped being Americans on that day.

You just love to forget all the riots of Antifa and BLM...those were ok with you when cites and buildings were burned down but a peaceful protest on January 6 that turned into chaos by some people is condemned and we are not Americans. What a joke you people are. Hang on to your fantasy like the broken record you are.

I find January 6th the most boring of topics. I bet these people know more about that little skirmish than they do about Pearl Harbor Day, or D Day. Sometimes I am able to forget about it entirely, until some bozo brings it up again. What a boring life it must be for those who can't let go of this trifling event.
