Donald Trump is vowing to hold a “spectacular” year-long birthday party to celebrate 250 years of American Independence.The pledge was delivered via a new campaign video in which Trump revealed he would honor America’s founding in 1776 with an event called “Salute to America 250.”
“Three years from now, the United States will celebrate the biggest and most important milestone in our country’s history – 250 years of American Independence.
Honestly, this is the kind of announcement in which Trump excels as a candidate. I can guarantee no other candidate was even pondering celebrating America’s 250 years of Independence at this point, let alone already working out a plan the way Trump has.

I was on the fence between DeSantis and Trump but this guarantees my vote for Trump. Who doesn't want to party? DeSantis is all serious with his woke stuff but what we need is a decent party. Maybe he can make it last 4 years!!! Who cares what else happens...it's a party!
Probably a good idea, cause I doubt if we'll make 300.
It took a while, but I now can understand Trump's jibes on DeSantis. The man has absolutely no personality, and this issuing edict after edict, is wearing people out.
While I strongly agree with him on protecting children from lewd and lascivious entertainments, and warped school officials who would use children to their own ends, some of his other proclamations are an infringement on basic rights that he can never enforce anyway.
There are things he can do to make things better as Governor, but now, he wants to jump right into the Oval Office. I voted for DeSantis for Governor. I will not be voting for him for President.
