Is Robert the one to ask why we did not have a raft entered in the race.
I believe only about 8 neighborhood associations out of 16 were entered in the race. Robert is the one to ask.
That neighborhood needs a lot of thanks for taking a stand against private enterprise at John Prince Park.
What does that last comment even mean?
Lynn why didn't you answer the question at 3:30 honestly. Your hatred of your dirty dozen is so profound you cut off your nose to spite your face and you would have pitched a hissy fit if rolohohoho dared to enter a raft in anything sponsored by Mary Lindsey's N.A.
You don't think I answered it honestly? You were baiting me with this question that was not honest, IMO. How in the heck do I know why ROLO didn't enter a raft?
ROLO is non-political unlike most of the NA's in our city so it has nothing to do with Mary Lindsey and her political position that she took that undermined this neighborhood. You should ask the same question to the other 8 NA's that did not enter a raft.
The NAPC vote to support baseball was unanimous, and yes Robert Waples voted yes. Mary Lindsey does great things for the city, quit bashing her.
Your above statement anonymous Coward at 1:41 is inaccurate on several levels or doesn't go far enough. And NO one is "bashing" Mary Lindsey. Get a grip on reality. We ALL support baseball. Mary does do great things for the city and her many contributions are not diminished here. Facts are facts, however, when it comes to the JPP incident and her position.
Some of you guys obviously do not have your facts straight at all. ME, Robert Waples reversed my yes vote and stood solidly against the Stadium. Well documented in all the papers.
But lets make one point very clear. The Ball Teams were NEVER interested in John Prince Park. If you want to point a finger point at the commission that got everyone in an up roar over a NEVER TO HAPPEN Deal! Call the teams yourself and get the real answers.
Thanks
Robert Waples
