It's a big problem. What can the county do about it all?

Actually, these two were not secluded back in the camp ground area. They were RIGHT OUT FRONT, at the ENTRANCE to John Prince Park off of Lake Worth Road and lake Osborne Drive. Isn't this a great advertisement for our city? park? Where was the PBSO? I am sick to death of the city of Lake Worth being allowed to look like a homeless camp. I don't see homeless panhandlers on the corner of Worth Avenue and Ocean. I don't see bums huddled asleep in any of the Vias in Palm Beach.
Bradshaw needs to be kicked out on his worthless ass. Enough. Katie Mcgiveron

What do we do with them?

Katie, big park big problem. do you have a solution besides kicking out the chief. you cannot compare us to p.b. which has a huge budget. also p.b. is much easier to patrol. make a difference and run for office.

REALLY, anon at 10:13? Big park, really? These bums were RIGHT OUT IN FRONT AT THE ENTRANCE !!!!
I think kicking out Bradshaw on his ass would be a start. The buck stops with him.
Budget is not the problem. A lack of will is. Palm Beach Police does not allow this to happen. The PBSO does. Enough!

You can start with the homeless Vets...there are federal $$ available for programs for the guys/girls who have served and find themselves homeless. Hey its a start..they might not be big numbers but you'll be doing the right thing.
c/p from the VA site:
VA has many benefits and services to assist homeless veterans. Disability benefits, education, health care, rehabilitation services, residential care, and compensated work therapy are among the services we offer to eligible veterans

PBSO could start with patrolling our parks and neighborhoods, I never ever see them. That would be a good start. Then they might engage in some undercover police work and some community work. Then they might enforce ordinances like parks close at X time and everyone has to be out type ordinances.

PBSO is non-existent in this City.
