Lake Worth City Commission Agenda

A few of the volunteers for RP Pac

The Commission will be considering the people's right to vote and has brought back the item that recently failed on a 3/2 vote. As one former commissioner who works in our downtown stated yesterday, "No one wants 65 foot buildings." Well, we know of three commissioners (Maxwell, Triolo and Amoroso) who do and that's why we are petitioning.

On Tonight's agenda:

New Business G:
Ordinance No. 2012-29 - First Reading - to place The Respectful Planning Lake Worth Political Committee's charter amendment regarding building heights on the November 6, 2012, ballot; and schedule the public hearing date for August 7, 2012

New Business H:
To reconsider and discuss the Commission's decision to prepare a charter amendment regarding height limitations.

There is a possibility that these items may be moved up to an earlier spot on the Agenda.

Ya'll are my heroes! Thanks for your hard work: in heat & rain, never-ending, moving forward, protecting our right to vote on important issues in Lake Worth. Sorry I'm not there to help out this time, but I'm cheering from Hollywood. PS: Noticed in Lynn's previous pix that everyone has really cool walking shoes. Keep on truckin' & don't forget the SPF. See ya in November --Beth
