Fifteen Democratic House members sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater. They wanted to know if Rick Scott’s office violated citizens’ civil rights during a budget-signing event.
It seems that some members of the audience were holding anti-Scott signs at the budget signing event on May 26 at The Villages. That's a no no and they were removed by Scott's staff. Knowing the Dems of late, I am sure that it was not a little passive crowd of protesters.
Jeff Clemens was one of the signers of the letter. Can you imagine...Clemens, the very one who reduced public commentary to 2 minutes while Mayor of Lake Worth and even kicked an old man out of the chamber for saying a word of which he disapproved.
