We have residents here who are madder than hell about our Comprehensive Plan and making any changes to it but those that they want. One citizen, La Sonna Hayes, even spoke in front of the Commission saying not to change our Comp Plan. She was particularly disturbed about the Sunset property, not having a clue about it...not realizing that what the P&Z did and what the past Commission did was to CHANGE our Comp Plan for a developer thus bringing down a single family residential neighborhood. This is the mentality that we are dealing with here.
How do you overcome the ignorance? How do you overcome this sort of corruption?
