SB 216

Comment up
The best law that goes into effect today is SB 216 whereby local governments can't spend public money to lobby voters to their viewpoint on ballot issues.

It is about time and way past time that citizens rights are protected. Move over League of Cities.

Remember when a past Commission wanted to send out propaganda supporting the Greater Bay scam in our utility bills ? What will the cities do with all of the freed up cash that can't go into telling the taxpayers what's the right thing to do ? More elaborate League of Cities luncheons ?
