Grease at the Lake Worth Playhouse
The longest running play on Broadway when it closed in 1980 with 3,388 performances, it is now appearing through August 1 at our very own playhouse. It's hard to believe that it first came out in 1972.
The lead of Sandy Dumbrowski is played by Allison Wilson, a senior at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, this being her debut at the Lake Worth Playhouse. Inspite of little air conditioning, if any, and no towels in the bathrooms, this musical was terrific and played to a full house. So treat yourself to something special with lots of nostalgia. Just bring a fan.
