New Circuit Judge appointed who fought corruption

Charlie Crist has just named two new Circuit Judges. One is filling the vacancy of William Abramson, John Kastrenakes, 53, from Tequesta.

John Kastrenakes, described as "tough and truthful," brought down Tony Masilotti and Warren Newell and ended some of the backroom deals that made Palm Beach County politics so infamous. Not only did he help nab these two but he also caught William Boose who was one of the most highly respected lawyers here.

Even the City of Lake Worth hired Boose's firm and still, to this day, retains that law firm to sue the citizens.
