Well, for those around here that surf the local blogs, you might already be aware of Ms. Anderson's. It is a unique breed. You can find it through a Google search if you're interested. In my opinion, it's tone is decidedly negative and is laced with half-truths and misinformation. I defend her right to say whatever she wants, but it would be wise for her to look in the mirror of public opinion after she touches her computer keyboard. Can life be all that bad? That is always the argument when someone disagrees with you--they call you "negative" and any other descriptive adjective they can look up in their handy little dictionary. Doesn't fly with thinking people, however. Incidentally, there are plenty of people interested in what I have to say. You go there, don't you Wes?
My blog is purely opinion and commentary and supported by facts as much as possible. Unlike Mr. Blackman, I am not running for political office. I am a 100% supporter of good, clean, honest government first and foremost. Because of past decisions made by Mr. Blackman regarding the Sunset property that were totally incompatible to the Master Plan, I respectfully disagree with him. I would not call him "absurd," however, just out of touch with what the people want and what they told him they wanted.
We need politicians that care about the people. And we need citizens who will fight for those rights. Life is great but could be a whole lot better if the "right" people are elected into office and remember who they are working for and the neighborhoods they represent.
