Evening Sky 9-27-26

An Iranian-American student asked Abdul El-Sayed for an unequivocal condemnation of the IRGC and Iran’s government.

Iman Dashti described his family’s persecution and pressed the Michigan Senate candidate: “You stand with us?” El-Sayed affirmed support for freedom and democracy, including for Iranians, but repeatedly returned to his opposition to American regime-change wars.

That answer invites a sharp criticism: Dashti sought solidarity and a direct denunciation of his family’s alleged persecutors; El-Sayed answered largely with an argument about American intervention.

Condemning a government’s brutality requires no commitment to invade the country it rules. [RAIR FOUNDATION]

Good Night, Patriots!
