Biden’s Border Blame Game

Biden Claims He Closed The Border

At a South Carolina reception hosted by the state Democratic Party, President Joe Biden told attendees that he closed the border, not President Donald Trump.

It was a bold assertion that grabbed headlines because it runs against widely reported facts and common sense. Voters expect clarity on border policy, not competing claims that rewrite recent events. The remark quickly became a talking point among conservatives who say reality and accountability matter more than spin.

During his remarks Biden blamed Covid and then suggested he was responsible for lower border crossings. That plays into a longer argument over who is accountable for border security.

Beyond the sound bites this matters because it highlights larger issues: trust, competence, and who gets credit or blame for policy outcomes.

Democrats continue to lie about everything. And Joe needs to be in a straight jacket.

Actually, he didn't.

Here's the quote: “From around the world, despite everything you read, despite everything you read, despite the fact that Covid drove migration to record levels all around the world, the day I left office, border crossing the United States were lower than the day that I entered an office inherited from Trump.”

Never said he closed it. Said border crossings were lower when he left office than when he took over from Trump. That might be right or that might be wrong, I don't know.

But he never said he closed the border.
