Birthright Citizenship before Supreme Court

And liberal Justices seem to have mde up their minds

Trump’s birthright citizenship order faces Supreme Court scrutiny

President Donald Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship faced intense scrutiny at the Supreme Court on Thursday as the justices heard oral arguments in a landmark case that could reshape immigration policy in America.

The case combines three separate challenges – Trump v. CASA, Trump v. Washington, and Trump v. New Jersey – which all seek to block injunctions against Trump’s executive order attempting to end birthright citizenship.

During Thursday’s oral arguments, Amy Coney Barrett shocked observers when she teamed up with liberal Justice Elena Kagan to hammer Trump’s Solicitor General John Sauer with pointed questions.

The exchange began when Justice Kagan tried to pin down Sauer on how the Court could efficiently handle the case if they determined the executive order was illegal.

Mark Levin says that the 14th amendment does NOT provide for birth right citizenship. At no time did the authors of the 14th amendment ever mention birthright citizenship. For 40 years AFTER the ratification of the 14th amendment no court had ruled, and no Congress had argued that there was something called birth right citizenship. The fact is that Roberts and Barrett are not constitutionalists, so it will be very difficult.

The only amendment that really matters if we are honest, is the 2nd. All the other ones are optional.
