Steve Bannon Calls on Kristi Noem to Target Businesses Employing Illegal Aliens

Steve Bannon called on ICE to conduct high-profile raids on businesses that knowingly employ undocumented workers, urging the arrest and “perp walk” of CEOs and COOs to deter illegal hiring.

He pressed for expanded state and local cooperation under ICE’s 287(g) program—pointing to Florida’s model.

Bannon proposed a three-strike penalty system for offending employers, escalating from warnings and fines to criminal charges on the third offense, aiming to eliminate the job magnet driving illegal immigration.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis set the model for state cooperation with ICE on enforcing immigration law.

He signed a bill that required that every sheriff’s department and certain branches of state law enforcement participate in ICE’s 287(g) program that deputized them to enforce certain federal immigration laws.

What happened to E-Verify?
