It seems some people just can’t resist the siren song of the spotlight, especially when they’ve got an old, tired tune to play. You know the type – they pop up like a bad penny, usually when they sense an opportunity to stir the pot, hoping we’ve all forgotten why they faded from relevance in the first place.It’s a classic move, really, straight from the playbook of those who miss the echo of their own voices in the halls of power they no longer occupy.
And wouldn’t you know it, just when you thought the political discourse couldn’t get any more… imaginative… along comes a familiar face, eager to remind us of his particular brand of “insight.” This time, it’s none other than former FBI Director James Comey, a man whose tenure was, shall we say, memorable for all the wrong reasons.
He recently decided to grace the airwaves of MSNBC, sitting down with former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki – a cozy chat, no doubt – to offer his latest pearls of wisdom.
It turns out Mr. Comey has been doing some deep thinking, and he’s concluded that a significant portion of the American political landscape is, in his esteemed view, “white supremacist adjacent.” Yes, you read that right.
