Washington DC boarding up for Election Day as nation braces for mass violence and unrest
New images show stores all over the nation's capital boarded up in preparation for civil unrest come Election Day.Officials are said to be prepared for any and all threats, noting it is a “fluid, unpredictable security environment,” which includes extremist groups and the potential for civil unrest, ABC News reported.
Not only in Washington, but business owners across the United States are boarding up their windows in preparation for potential post-election fallout. They remember Election 2016 and the George Floyd riots.
Before voters head to the polls Tuesday with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris vying for the presidency, several businesses in Washington, D.C., were boarded up last week near the intersection of 17th Street NW and H Street NW, Fox 5 D.C. reported – a short walk from the White House.

I put up my shutters this afternoon, just in case. I counted 5 businesses on Lake & Lucerne putting theirs up this afternoon.

It could be either. MAGA is going to claim that the election was rigged as they always do when they lose and we've already seen what they're capable of when they feel like an election has been stolen.
@5:20---look, Republicans don't burn down cities and riot. They had a peaceful protest on Jan 6 with a handful of people who were invited in by Capitol police and some who were agitated by FBI in the crowd. It was a set-up by Democrats.
