Tariffs as a weapon to fulfill America First Policy

Trump Vows 25 Percent Tariff for Canada, Mexico, Ramps Up Promised Levies on China

President-elect Trump has vowed to impose steep tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico to combat illegal immigration and fentanyl trafficking.

President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to impose an additional 10 percent tariff on any goods coming into the United States from China—over and above any tariffs he has already pledged to impose on Chinese products—as well as a 25 percent tariff on all incoming goods from Canada and Mexico.

He cited Beijing’s broken promises to stem the flow of fentanyl, while saying that Canada and Mexico have failed to address the problem of illegal immigration through their borders into the United States.

Trump said in a series of social media posts on Nov. 25 that one of his first actions after being sworn into office on Jan. 20, 2025, would be to sign executive orders imposing the tariffs on Canada and Mexico, as well as China. In the missives, Trump cited the harmful impact of illegal immigration and drugs on U.S. communities.

China is every bit the enemy to America that Nazi Germany was in the 1940's....Can you imagine Americans buying German goods and services in the 1940's? We were obviously a smarter people back then. Leftists will say it is too expensive to avoid Chinese made electronics etc....If it had been the Nazis making critical parts like this in the 1940's, would these Leftist Retards not understand that they would be helping the Nazi Economy and allowing it to afford winning the war against us. Chine is our Enemy. Understand this, and embrace change.

America can live without China imports. Forget the tariffs...just stop all imports from there and have Americans buy from other countries. Sure, it's going to be more expensive for us but most of us can afford it and those who can't, can do without. We should do the same with Russia and North Korea.
