In a rare display of unity, the House of Representatives approved a bill to bolster Secret Service protections for presidential candidates after two attempts on Donald Trump's life.
The bill, proposed by Representatives Ritchie Torres (D-NY) and Mike Lawler (R-NY), received an overwhelming vote of 405 to 0, as Fox News reports, something sure to please Trump.
This bipartisan effort was a direct response to a violent attack at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, where a gunman targeted the former president.
