Wasn't that good of a City commissioner what makes him think he's going to be a good mayor

In my opinion he only looks out for himself and not any and not the city just like when they were putting all the patio tables up and blocking the sidewalks he was in favor for 100% people couldn't even get down the street with a wheelchair

Other than voting for the County to allow the Atlanta Braves to take 100 acres of John Prince park, I think he was a pretty good commissioner.

Not a good commissioner? He was a very good commissioner. He will not only make a wonderful mayor, he sure would be head over heels better than the pot head we have now. Maybe someone should research when she was city attorney and had to "leave" the job because she lost her law license. Maybe someone should find out why she lost it.

Maybe someone should watch her pot habit before she signs her name to official city business.

I dont care if someone smokes, but being impaired and making decisions for the city...... now we know why it is going to crap.

9:12 - what about the current administration allowing our "free street parking" for valet? We could park on Lake Ave for free in the past, now we have to pay to valet in the parking spots that our city taxes paid for. A valet service making money with our city asset (street parking).

@4:27...please be careful about slanderous and unproved allegations. Our policy here is that politicians are fair game but...

There is no question that Andy is pro-business. That's good! Everything in moderation.

I don't understand why all of the business has to be squeezed in on Lake Avenue. Lake Avenue has to be scrubbed and painted. It's a nice place for walking and stopping in the various stores, but it's just too sleazy looking at this time for a family night out.

We have 24 blooks going north on Dixie Hwy, some of which is being developed, but most of it is just a slum. I think it is time for Lake Worth to welcome reputable chain restaurants to Dixie Hwy.

@10:38...I'm afraid our "small town charm" is long gone.
I agree with some good chain stores if they can get the business in this city.
There is no where to really shop downtown. I like Trinkets & Treasures.
This city loves bars...they seem to thrive.
I miss Halsey & Griffith and a few other stores we used to have.
Going way back, I miss M&M Cafeteria and Fountains Department Store. We used to have a hardware store, forget the name of it.

He is in it for the big pay check and benefits first and foremost. He was voted out for being a rat, now a few years have past, all have forgotten and you want him back again, I won't vote for him ever again.

$100 is a lot for this! Not donating to this bum!

The problem with little stores, is nobody shops in them. Everybody just buys junk now anyway. The women's clothing is positively atrocious, but what can you expect, when everybody weighs 300 pounds.

I used to buy shoes on Lake Avenue when I moved here 20 years ago. They had good brands and stylish shoes.

Now, everybody wears crocs. A normal shoe won't support 300 pounds.

God knows if the people on Lake Avenue even bathe regularly.

"People are their own worst enemy."

They built the malls, so the little stores were deserted. Now the malls are dying.

You could write a book about it, but everybody knows what happened.
