45th President Donald Trump is doubling down on his claims that members of the January 6 Committee should be investigated for “treason” amid fallout from Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s release of Capitol security footage, which revealed that Capitol Police escorted protesters throughout the complex and into the Senate chamber.Valiant News reported earlier this week that Carlson released previously suppressed footage that showed Capitol Police officers behaving like “tour guides” for January 6 defendant, 33 year old Navy veteran Jacob Chansley, otherwise known as “QAnon Shaman.”
“Virtually every moment of his time inside the Capitol was caught on tape,” said Carlson of the footage. “The tapes show the Capitol Police never stopped Jacob Chansley. They helped him. They acted as his tour guides.”
