What part of the word "illegal" do Democrats not understand?

Blue state Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has proposed to spend $28,000,000 in order to implement a policy allowing illegal immigrants to get driver’s licenses. This measure follows a bill that was passed by state legislators and upheld by voters in the Commonwealth.

At first glance, this policy may seem like a step forward for safety and equity, however, upon closer inspection it is clear that this proposal is a mistake. Illegal immigration is a serious issue and it should not be encouraged or rewarded. Allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses sends the wrong message and could lead to an increase in illegal immigration into the state.
