Parrot Cove Hosts Candidate Forum

Parrot Cove Neighborhood Association hosted the first candidate forum last night at The Beach Club located at the Lake Worth Golf Course. It was well organized by president Anthony Marotta. Two candidates passed out their literature before the meeting:  Maryann Polizzi and Herman Robinson both running for District 4 commissioner.

Each candidate got 5 minutes to introduce themselves and were given two minutes to answer two questions on how they would handle crime, blight and drugs and what their solution would be on Sober Homes. The forum gave them one minute to wrap up.

Left to right: District 2 Commissioner Christopher McVoy, Omari Hardy and William Joseph, -- District 4 Maryann Polizzi, Herman Robinson and Ellie Whittey

Who do you recommend?

I recommend anyone who wants to put the people first. When I look at what this majority commission has done over the past several years, it is obvious they do not believe that they answer to us.

There are only two candidates running that would get my support as others are either unknown or have already sided with the majority against our Heights Amendment or wanting the Atlanta Braves to take over land on our public park as example of egregious actions. There are so many.

I would never vote for that herman musterson guy, he is the worst and in bed with scott maxwell, we do not need 4 of that kind up there on the dias.
