The Media - Unfair and Unbalanced

I noticed in today's Palm Beach Post under the Balanced Views section, that once again, there was zero balance. The Post replaced its regular Tuesday writer who works for the New York Times, a liberal paper, with Catherine Rampell of the Washington Post--another liberal paper.

Ross Douthat is a regular blogger and columnist for the most liberal rag in the country. He is the regular columnist in the PBPost on Tuesdays and also the youngest regular op-ed writer in the New York Times, having replaced Bill Kristol as a supposed conservative voice on the Times editorial page in April 2009.

Catherine Rampell is a former New York Times writer who went to work for The Washington Post in 2014. She continues to write negative articles on Trump. So, how can she be a view for the "right?"

This section in our local Post is never fair and balanced.

Trump has called the news media, “unbelievably dishonest” and “disgusting,” and called one reporter “a sleaze. Ms. Rampell's hatchet piece on Trump today fits into that category as well. Trump University stopped enrolling students after July 2010 and isn’t selling the same seminars or mentorships anymore. This is all coming out now by a few disgruntled "students" and of course, politics.

Trump, when talking about Bill Kristol, a persistent critic of Trump, said "Kristol has been wrong for 2yrs--an embarrassed loser, but if the GOP can't control their own, then they are not a party. Be tough, R's!"

When talking about the New York Times is said that they are "unfair and biased and totally dishonest." He said that The Washington Post is "dishonest with inaccurate reporting."
