Yesterday at the Lake Worth beach

Lynn, it is funny you wrote about the Lake Worth beach, you know they ahve a real racket going on there with the lifeguards. They are bad cops. The LW lifeguards do nto enforce the laws for surfers, on Sunday they closed the entire beach north of the pier so surfers could surf, although the entrance boards with rules say no surfing in swimming areas. The lifeguards at LW beach are big surfers too, so they let the surfers win over the swimmers, they are bad cops. I saw the same thing on Thursday, they were overlooking all the surfers surfing while people were swimming, they do it more on the Lake Worth side, but on the Kruesler park side too. Even one of the county lifeguards from Kruesler was using the county surf board to just surf in the Lake Worth side for an hour or more and no one said he couldn't even there were a lot of swimmers in the water, they cover each others asses. The lifeguards are bad cops, they do nto enforce the laws on the books and make the surfers go either north or Kruesler or south of the LW Beach to surf, they give into surfers over swimmers. Who is in charge of the lifeguards at our beach? They are not doing their job. All the sign say on the entrance to the beaches both for LW and Lruesler Park no surfing in swimming areas, yet our own lifeguards do not ENFORCE this law. Start observing Lynn, there are so many laws broken by the lifeguards. They seem to be on the side of surfers over swimmers, they had the entire north side of the LW beach closed on Sunday just for surfers, made us all get out of the water for them, so unfair. The city leaders should not allow this. I hope it gets reported.
I love our beach here in Lake Worth! Love yoru photos. I just wish that the city would make sure all the laws are enforced at the beach. So many people smoke and throw their butts all over our beach and also drink alcohol and trash the place. The beach is so abused by so many who could careless and the lifeguards do not enfore anything. It is anything goes up there. You see so many people openly and free drinking alcohol all over the place there and leaving all their trash behind. So sad.
