Read about the big costly SNAFU that this blog reported on Saturday, October 11, regarding the sample ballot mailed out to 739,000 voters. Reporters at Channel 5 were notified as well as The Palm Beach Post who eventually ran the story.
The total cost of the mistake was $233,000 and the sample ballot will be re-sent by the printer, Tribune Direct. Tribune Direct is part of Tribune Publishing Company, an American newspaper and print media publishing company based in Chicago, Illinois. Among other publications, the company's portfolio includes the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Orlando Sentinel, Sun-Sentinel and The Baltimore Sun.
