Comment Up
Lake Worth City Attorney Torcivia
spent at least 15 minutes at the beginning of the meeting discussing what had
happened at the Canvassing Board and interjecting his opinion. Below is a comment that was turned in on a blue card and was disallowed by the Mayor saying it was "opinion." The first paragraph addresses the same subject as Mr. Torcivia.
At
the Supervisor of Elections Canvassing Board your City Attorneys objected to
virtually every Lake Worth provisional ballot that the Board decided did not
count, including even ballots that were unsigned. Does this Commission think
that objecting to the exclusion of unsigned ballots lends any credibility to
your attempt to discredit the recent vote?
Rather
than spending your time looking for a different result, I respectfully suggest
that you explore and implement strategies that will expand the City coffers and
enable us to repair our infrastructure gradually with increasing funds rather
than creating long term massive debt.

What's good for the goose isn't good for the gander, obviously!
Why did this group need this money so badly? It obviously wasn't to fix our roads,as stated on their B.S. advertising. WHY SCOTT? WHY are you crying in your beer?
