More crap at our Sewer Plant

Comment up

There are some days you can't even make it off the front page of the Palm Beach Post without something troubling or grabbing your attention. This time, and once again, it is an anonymous complaint getting a top executive fired.

Read the Post article.

Read about earlier crap at the ECR from my blog of September 1.

Now, through more anonymous complaints, Joseph Carlini, someone for whom I was convinced knew more about sewer facilities than anyone alive, was ousted and called "reckless" by anonymous complainers. What a bunch of crap.

This is no way to handle complaints. A disgruntled employee can say anything about anyone..."so and so killed his first born and buried it in his backyard." Anonymous should not be given any credibility. If an employee wants to complain (and all do from time to time), it should be formal and in writing and that employee should be protected from any repercussions.

"someone for whom I was convinced knew more about sewer facilities than anyone alive,".
First this sentence makes zero sense. someone for who I was convinced. Who writes this drivel? You claim it's your blog so you take credit for that grammatical diarrhea? Second if your opinion is this person knew more about anything, there's all the proof necessary to verify he should have been fired long ago as your opinion means crap. Get it? CRAP

“A writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.”-- from Thomas Mann who was talking to anonymous.

These anonymous snide remarks are so juvenile on your blog. This must be that bully. An anonymous complaint is what happened to this official at our ECR. Someone should not get fired for a cowardly complaint. Tt's bad politics and sets a very bad precedent.

This was an investigation not from an anoymous tip but from employees that were not treated with respect and dignity. It is not what you know or how many degrees you have but when you are in a position of running a department it is how you treat your workers. Mr. Carlinni mey have been good at knowing how the ECR worked but not at how to work his employees.

anonymous complaints--a he said she said. Mr. Carlini was mistreated by a bad policy. How would you like it if some co-worker(s) filed an anonymous complaint against you and you lost your job?

Believe me Lynn the city knew who the complaints came from. They were not anonymous. Don't believe everything in the post, they only know what they have been told.Did you not read the story on the survey that became public record that was supposed to be confidencial.

I did read that. Unbelievable that people were misinformed by their own city govt. Who can you trust?
