Slideshow from a previous blog

We have a beautiful 6,100 yard, par 70 golf course located directly adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway and Snook Islands. It is comprised of a "unique old Florida design." It has:
  • Pro Shop
  • Lagoon Sports Bar & Grill - This restaurant was outsourced several years ago and now under new  negotiations in order to make it better than ever.
  • 118 memberships and growing for residents and non-residents
  • Golf Lessons  at $40.00/hour
  • Rental Clubs are Strata with is a subsidy of Callaway Golf they rent for $25.00/set
Finally, our golf course is in the best position it's been in years...about to break even and have a profit in 2014. From a yearly deficit in 2008 of $553 thousand, it is now at a $30,000 loss due to its closing in October 2012 to complete the greens renovation. October revenue usually runs around $161,000.

Dustin McCabe, Facility Director of Golf, gave a brief presentation on Wednesday night at the city's 4th budget meeting.. Recently he conducted a customer satisfaction survey with 649 responding with 86% saying they had a positive experience, approving of the quality of service and our course.

For all of you who want to play at a beautiful setting with golf pros on site, drive east all the way down 7th Avenue North in Lake Worth, call:561-582-9713 or visit their web site.

"deficit in 2008 of 553 million" you are throwing around big numbers, kind of like the 2013 and 2014 projections, fiction.
