Tearing down the barriers - Russia, Friend or Foe and who is telling the truth?

Comment Up

It just keeps getting worse. No one is really sure who to believe.

Vice Adm. James Syring, director of the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency (MDA), disclosed during a congressional hearing Wednesday that the Obama administration has asked him about sharing sensitive missile defense data with Russia during talks over the past several years aimed at reaching a missile defense cooperation agreement.

When Ronald Reagan told Russia "tear down that wall" he meant the Berlin wall. The wall came down but 25 years later, and many intelligent experts agree that Russia is still not our "friend." We keep removing barriers to prove that they are. We are kidding ourselves. I'm not sure if Russia is our number one enemy as Mitt Romney said, but I am starting to think that we are our own worst enemy.

Mitt Romney, in an Op-Ed piece to Foreign Policy Magazine: "Without extracting meaningful concessions from Russia, (Obama) abandoned our missile defense sites in Poland. He granted Russia new limits on our nuclear arsenal. He capitulated to Russia's demand that a United Nations resolution on the Iranian nuclear-weapons program exclude crippling sanctions.

Moscow has rewarded these gifts with nothing but obstructionism at the United Nations on a whole raft of issues. It has continued to arm the regime of Syria's vicious dictator and blocked multilateral efforts to stop the ongoing carnage there. Across the board, it has been a thorn in our side on questions vital to America's national security. For three years, the sum total of President Obama's policy toward Russia has been: ‘We give, Russia gets’"

Of course, Russia and the liberal Democrats smeared him. And Russia thinks it knows Obama better than we when Pravda wrote on the rebels in Syria who are linked to Al-Qaeda to overthrow a sovereign government--according to them, it is the rebels who are using chemical weapons on Syrian troops.  And Obama wanted to arm the rebels, the Muslim-Brotherhood, who we know want to take down our way of life.

Wow, Lynn... World events are breaking on this blog!

Although they have their own problems, the Russians are not part of the Anglo-Euro Bankster Crime Syndicate Group.

It was Russia that finally stopped Napoleon from completing his last worldwide bloodbath, ultimately defeating the tyrant, to the benefit of the liberty lovers of France, who couldn't stop him.

They withdrew from WWI, the biggest sham war of our time, to complete their own revolution from tyranny (only to be sacrificed to Stalin, years later, by the Anglo-Euro Bankster Crime Syndicate Group, who proceeded to kill anyone with an intelligent brain).

They intervened in WWII at a time,s tomping Hitler, when we could have lost the war, and were the first to liberate the holocaust survivors.

They are the only thing standing between the Muslim rent-a-revolution rats in Syria, and the takeover of the country by them, which would enable further killing of Christians and minorities. Thats what Bengazi was all about. Secret gun-running to the ratmen.

They are not perfect but they are not a part of the current Anglo-Wuro bankster fraudsters who re gobbling up he mid east. Lets hope it stays that way.

Every now and then, I have a "heavy" moment. I have to laugh when people tell me I should concentrate on local events--God, I would bore myself and everyone else to death. :)
