I must take you to task, Lynn, for this article. If you read the true facts you find the following:

Violent crime in the United States fell for the fifth consecutive year in 2011 with murder, rape and robbery all going down, although crime remains a serious problem in many urban areas, the FBI said on Monday.

The report of all crimes reported to police nationwide showed slightly more than 1.2 million violent incidents nationwide, while property crimes hit a nine-year low.

Compared with 2010, the new figures show violent crime down 3.8 percent overall. Property crime was down 0.5 percent.

Among violent incidents reported to police, murders were down about 0.7 percent, robberies dropped 4 percent, aggravated assaults declined 3.9 percent, and forcible rapes were down 2.5 percent.

Much better physical resources to focus on the lawlessness within our government. The Florida prison system is REQUIRED to get a certain amount of victims. How can you expect people to act better if the government is unlawful? Kids catch on to that stuff pretty fast.

Lynn, you're falling into the unsubstantiated criminality of Ric Bradshaw and his ever-increasing band of lesbians and thugs, who must justify their illegal existence. In a crisis we see NO police. We've all been through that. We are always truly on our own and thank God for that.

MB--this wasn't really an article. What it is--stats on crime close to where I live. Now, what about the rest of Lake Worth? We have so much crime and NO ONE is telling us the truth about it. You don't see it in the news at all except for one or two sensational cases.

lake Worth has made it easy for criminals to live and hang out here. until we do something about this 'affordable' housing thing which brings more slum and blight, it will continue.
Another thing, the police DON'T TELL THE TRUTH when it comes to crime stats that they give out nationally and especially locally. They want to appear as if they are doing a wonderful job when in fact, they have fallen behind the eight ball. Criminals are winning. they must justify their huge contracts that NO CITY CAN AFFORD and keep fooling the people that they are actually containing crime. I seldom see a sheriff's car.
