Comment Up

Carmel Real Estate & Management, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage based in Delray Beach, successfully completed the sale of the Lake Worth Corners parcels, which comprise 7.65 acres – the equivalent of two city blocks – at the intersection of Lake Worth Road and Boutwell Road at the City of Lake Worth’s southwestern boundary.

I noticed the sign said "sold." recently. I bet they will build a plaza there and put some stores there, Dollar General, TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree, something new and good is coming to Lake Worth, it least they will clean up that corner I am sure.

Too bad the above commentator didn't bother to read the article. The parcel was purchased by Affordable Housing Solutions and will be the site of new apartment homes.

Totally against any more new affordable rentals in this city but Lake Worth planners and officials just can't seem to get enough of them.

This is not a low income housing complex. Rents will start at close to $900 a month and up. You need to remember that the government cannot stop the owner of property that is zoned for rental units from building those units.

We could write our LDR's and code better. Now we have some developer who swill take advantage of government grants, etc. to build affordable rentals. crock.

Well this is what "the best commission ever", you know the gang you supported and apparently still support was working towards. Making Lake Worth a sanctuary city for illegals, criminals and the poor.
It's happening and you're upset NOW? You should have complaining 6 or 7 years ago.

Thanks, ^%$&. That is about the most stupid comment to date. Love all the other personal attacks you just tried to post. If you recall, Greg Rice was not too respected for having a property that is blighted right in the heart of our downtown as noted on this blog. Also, one person you mentioned in an unpublished comment is under a foreclosure right now. The third person had a DUI and also had financial problems at one time. So, your point is? You're such a little cyber bully.

Rice is a slum bum, boarded up blight right in the heart of downtown like you say Lynn, not sure why the city let's him be on the Code board or why they let him get away with this boarded up hell hole, it is apathy more than anything I am sure, but it is a sin. Right, how can we respect this when he cannot even clean up his own property forcing us to live next to it, to live next to this blight infested rats nest. It is shameful of Rice, is he not embarrassed? Does he have any integrity? His blight yet he is making decisions about our city? Very very sad, another bully that is why they love him over at the other blog so much, very sad.
