Regarding the "Affordable" Care Act (Obamacare)--"by the time it’s all said and done—in about four more years according to
government estimates—American taxpayers will have been fleeced $6.6
billion! It’s all part of the Obama Administration’s hostile takeover of
the nation’s healthcare system. The idea behind this plan is to switch
medical records from paper to digital to create a centralized system
that supposedly improves the quality of health care."

Does this mean all Hospitals and Doctor Offices will have to up grade their Computers and Record Systems? And your personal Medical information will be stored in a Master Computer? I bet that change will screw up the systems royally and cost a hugh amount. I wonder if our Reps and Senators will want their personal information on this system?
If you had worked in the medical system as long as I have, some 35+ years, you would understand the benefits, and need for electronic records. Just a few benefits are doctors office connected to same system and any test results, hospital visits, surgeries and reports can be automatically upload to office record. If you are admitted to the same hospital system, anywhere in the states, the doctor can get access to your old records- paper records are stored in warehouses after a year, and take days to recieve. Not to mention the time saved by all hospital personnel in documentation, and critical montoring documented automatically in the record. It's not a big conspiracy, it promotes a better continuance and safety in care.
Anon at 4:00 sounds like a salesperson of "the cloud" . The new system that we all are now enetered into. The above poster left out all of the possible abuses of the system that are now possible. Big brother can now see everything about us. There is no more privacy. Why not just insert a chip in all of us and get it over with.
