Romneys give the most to Charity

Comment Up

Mistrust of the mass media has hit a high at 60% according to a recent Gallup poll and it's no wonder.

Something that the liberal left wing media will not tell you is that Romney and his wife Ann gave 29.4 percent of their income to charity in 2011, donating $4,020,772 out of the $13,696,951 they took in.

Obama and first lady Michelle Obama gave 21.8 percent of their income to charitable organizations last year, donating $172,130 out of the $789,674 they made.

Biden and his wife, Jill, gave 1.5 percent of their income away in 2011, with charitable donations totaling $5,540 out of $379,035.

they all gave to,and also include the Ryans.

If I made that kind of MONEY I would give it away too. Just think of the tax deductions he received.

And just think--he only declared one-half of his charitable deductions so that he would pay purposely more in income tax.

On top of Ryan's $174,000 annual salary as congressman, he reported earning dividends of $29,987 in 2011 and $26,052 in 2010, the documents show.

The Ryan family gave $15,591 to charity over that two-year period, most of which--$12,991--was donated in 2011.

I don't think Romney had a choice on leaving out those other deductions...hard for him politically anyway to defend a 10% tax rate. He is not the kind of guy to overpay taxes unless the presidency is on the line....

Romney paid what the tax laws allowed plus more than he needed to. He wants to fix the loop holes. You think he should pay MORE than required by law? He paid 14.1% on $13 mil. He is a moral man but he's not nuts anonymous but he does want to do something about that. Geez.

Geez is right! Romney has publically said prior to releasing the recent tax return that he pays all of the taxes he suppose to, no more no less. Now he switches and has a return that pays more than he had too. All I am saying this was. It to make a point about loop holes or about being generous. Hmmm which sounds better after his 47% comment 13.9% or the 10% +- he would have paid if he did what he said...pay no more and pay no less. me thinks his campaign manager had a little consultation with his accountant.

Romney donated his money to the Mormon church. As a Christian Conservative I can't vote for Romney.
