Can we put a request in for a hit piece on Jim Stafford please? Be nice to generate some more income for the campaign. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Get one thing straight, Jim--that was not a "hit" piece. What it was--a reminder of what you were all about only a few years ago. You of all people should fess up and agree that you weren't a very nice guy. Thanks for your interest. May you raise tons of $$$$ for your campaign. This city needs more people like you and your side of politics will certainly rally around to the Jimbo cause, of that I AM SURE.
We can't rally around Stafford. All the brilliant ideas Mcoy's put forth have really helped turn the city around. Stafford NEVER would have thought to give the use of an oceanfront ballroom away to the residents to use free when the city has to use revenue from the refurbished casino to pay the mortgage. BRILLIANT! Be a sport Lynn. Help Stafford collect more money.
Since you insist making this blog about yourself, Jim, I want to remind you that the Casino BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE and the residents of this city. The ballroom was always used for functions for the residents such as dances. Do your history. There is no reason why there can't be events for the public there when the ballroom is not rented.
So, start raising money for all your forward thinking ideas.
