Discussions at forums like the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos have highlighted the importance of anticipating and preparing for Disease X, with experts warning that the next pandemic could be even more severe than COVID-19.

Dem Newbie Proposed Bill To Tear Down The Statue Of Liberty

Democrat Representative Maxwell Frost from Florida (gosh, that's embarrassing) recently made a shocking proposal that has been met with widespread ridicule and criticism. In an attempt to score political points against the GOP, Frost (who is 27) proposed a bill to remove the iconic Statue of Liberty if a new Republican-supported border security bill, H.R.2, were to pass.

In a video shared on social media, Frost can be seen mocking Republicans for their support of the Secure the Border Act. He claims that if they are going to demand a secure border, they might as well take down the Statue of Liberty, our largest symbol that welcomes immigrants to our country. His argument falls flat as he fails to understand the true purpose and symbolism of the statue.

The Statue of Liberty has nothing to do with our current border crisis and illegal immigration. It is a gift from France, commemorating their alliance with the United States during the American Revolution.

Its name, the “Immigrant’s Statue,” speaks to its historical role as a welcoming symbol for millions of immigrants who entered the country legally through Ellis Island. These immigrants came seeking the American dream and were met with the reassurance of Lady Liberty, a sign that they had arrived in the land of opportunity.

"'I honestly don’t understand why it’s controversial to say we need a secure border,' the senator told CNN anchor Jake Tapper.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Penn., lobbied for securing the U.S. southern border, telling CNN on Friday that 300,000 illegal immigrants attempting to enter the country are blocking legal migrants from their "American dream."

Fetterman spoke to CNN’s "The Lead" anchor Jake Tapper about the current migrant crisis, claiming the wave is making our immigration system "difficult." Though he noted he’s a huge proponent of legal migration, he demanded a "secure border" and questioned why his progressive critics have a problem with that."

Why is John Fetterman the ONLY Democrat who makes sense? Ironic, isn't it? If he had used the word "millions" to describe the illegals crossing into our country it would have been more accurate.

Three former GOP attorneys general, including Bill Barr, file brief siding with Trump in Supreme Court 14th Amendment 'insurrection' case

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments next month in former President Donald Trump's challenge against the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling that he is barred from appearing on that state's primary election ballot under the "insurrection" clause of Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment.

On Thursday, three former GOP U.S. attorneys general filed a brief with the Supreme Court in support of Trump's position that the 14th Amendment's "insurrection" clause doesn't apply to the president and therefore can't be used to bar him from state ballots, Breitbart reported.

Those three former attorneys general include Edwin Meese, who served under Ronald Reagan, Michael Mukasey, who served under George W. Bush, and Bill Barr, who served under Trump but is certainly otherwise no longer a supporter of his former boss. They were joined by constitutional law professors Steven Calabresi and Gary Lawson, along with the conservative advocacy group Citizens United.
