A new law in Florida, Section 501.2041, Florida Statutes, would require that certain social media platforms provide users with notice if a user’s content or material is removed and provide users the opportunity to opt-out of certain algorithms that affect interaction with the platform. This law contains a private right of action which may allow individuals to sue for money damages and other relief. The new law is currently being challenged in federal court and it is uncertain whether it will be upheld.

A student involved in government at the Washington University has been caught desecrating a 9/11 Memorial to protest “against American imperialism and the 900,000 lives lost as a result of post 9/11 war.”

Fadel Alkilani, who is a chairman of the student senate finance committee at the St Louis, Missouri university was caught filling blue trash bags with American flags used as par of the 9/11: Never Forget Project memorial.

And guess what he did next...he blamed Republicans for him being a "victim."

Texas may award a massive contract to begin building a barrier that stretches along more than 700 miles of the state’s border with Mexico as early as this week, according to the office overseeing the project.

California Proposes Giving Beachfront Property to Black Descendants

Right before Gavin Newsom's Recall Election, he and his Democrat State Senate pulled a political stunt--reparations to black Descendents by returning beachfront property previously seized from two black owners. The move is the latest in a long string of proposed reparations in the state.

 The bill “represents economic and historic justice,” state Sen. Steven Bradford told the Daily News, “and is a model of what reparations can truly look like.”

The Los Angeles land was seized from the owners in 1924 through eminent domain.

A super PAC that claims to advocate for wounded veterans raised millions of dollars this year, but spent only $18,000 of it on political activity. The rest of the money was spun off to administrative and marketing services, including to three companies belonging to one person — a former long-shot Democratic congressional candidate, self-published author, certified nutrition-label reader and serial hustler in East Tennessee named Alan Bohms.

The organization, called American Wounded Veterans PAC, bears hallmarks of what campaign finance watchdogs call a “scam PAC” — a for-profit fundraising vehicle that professes to advocate for a cause but makes no clear promise on how it will spend the money raised, and in reality intends to keep most of it, or pay it out to affiliated contractors.

I continue to give to Veteran causes and had to check if I had given to this one.

The group, called Shut Down DC, is demanding that Kavanaugh resign for siding with the majority in the court’s 5-4 decision not to block the Texas bill, which went into effect on September 1.

The activists plan on meeting Monday evening at Chevy Chase Local Park before going to the justice’s house for an “abortion right’s rally and speak-out at Kavanaugh’s house.”

Lake Worth Beach teen murders a rival

Lake Worth Beach Teen to face murder charge after man's body found in truck

"As a Lake Worth Beach teen attempted to drag a man's body into a canal on the night of Aug. 20, witnesses rebuked him for his actions, according to court documents made public Friday. The teen had a pointed reply.

"If he can kill my brother, why can't I kill him?" the teen responded, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest report.

Luis Miguel Mejia Granados died Aug. 20 near Lake Worth Beach. The teen is accused of shooting him, then fleeing with his body, after a dispute...He changed his reason why he killed Granados--he was hitting on his girlfriend.

The Palm Beach Post is not disclosing his name because he was a juvenile at the time of his arrest."
