U.S. signs agreement with Denmark and Greenland

President Donald John Trump announced Agreement with The Kingdom of Denmark, and Greenland

that gives the United States permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many U.S. concerns

There will be NO COST to the United States! At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America.

“Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval. For over 100 years, Presidents have known the strategic importance of Greenland, but NONE of them were able to do anything about it. I am proud to be the President that permanently and conclusively addressed this very important situation.

“This is an “Infinite Life” Agreement, there is no end! We are very honored and proud of what has just taken place, and everything agreed to today will be cherished by the American People. We will immediately begin the process of developing a large Military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland, of which there are many. We will work with the people of Greenland in its development and construction.

This solution is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland, and all of our Allies. We look forward to working with the wonderful people of Denmark and Greenland toward a magnificent future with respect to this large, and highly strategic, parcel of land.

“We will be very protective of it! This is a dream come true for the United States of America, one that is very important, historic, and special. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.” [Don Surber]

How does this differ from the agreements that were already in place?

@604...Under the older 1951 defense agreement, increasing the U.S. military footprint or adding installations generally required mutual bilateral negotiations. The new deal gives the U.S. unilateral power to build new bases and military structures without needing direct approval from Greenland or Denmark. No need for Russia or China or any country to come into Greenland now.

The agreement would bar non-NATO nations from establishing a military base or having a troop presence on the island — and would prohibit investments by non-allies in the critical minerals and mining sectors, according to the State Department.

Those provisions appear designed to block China or Russia from doing business or establishing a military footprint in Greenland , though one NATO official, granted anonymity to discuss a diplomatic mater, said that there is no indication either country has any such plans.

There is no indication that the new agreement grants the U.S. any sovereignty over any part of Greenland, and does not transfer property or territory to the U.S.

A 1951 agreement between the U.S. and Denmark already gave Washington wide latitude to expand military bases and deploy troops to the island, something that NATO diplomats have pointed out with some frustration since the start of the Trump administration. It is not clear how this new agreement changes that agreement which already gave Washington much of what Trump has been demanding.

It gave Trump much but not all...now he is in control. It tighten up the agreement in favor of the United States. Do we have an argument?

Some people just like to complain because they're so full of so much hate negativity and living and misery we see them coming on this blog all the time with all their hate and their evil rhetoric supporting sin lawlessness and all this hate it's sad to see they're blinded by their hate they need our prayers! You need our prayers!

Argument? I don't think the text of the agreement has even been released yet, has it? Whatever it is, if it keeps Trump from threatening to invade Greenland, I'm all for it. For Greenland, it's like having your headed pounded against the wall by a bully. You're just really happy when it finally stops.
