The single most outrageous number Vance dropped last week: 562,000 fraudulent or delinquent pandemic-era loans totaling $22.2 billion had been referred to the Treasury for collection.The Small Business Administration was legally required to refer those debts years ago.
Not one of the 562,000 had been compelled to repay a dime. Fewer than 1,000 faced any investigation at all.
