Sunset 6-27-26

Hours after the Supreme Court cleared the Trump administration to strip Temporary Protected Status from more than 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani stood before cameras and declared the ruling "not something we will ever accept."

He rallied alongside Gov. Kathy Hochul and state Attorney General Letitia James, then issued a written City Hall statement and a video doubling down on the city's sanctuary policies, a direct challenge to the highest court in the land.

The New York Post reported that Mamdani framed the decision as "one of the largest attacks on immigrants in modern American history" and pledged that his administration would "stand alongside immigrant New Yorkers today, tomorrow, and every day that follows."

The question the defiant Communist Marxist Muslim mayor never answered: What, exactly, does a city do when it announces it will not accept a binding ruling by the United States Supreme Court? [AmericanAlmanac]

Good Night, Patriots!
