Fetterman, a man who stands alone in the Alt-Left Democrat party

Fetterman admits he feels 'lonely' as a moderate in a Democratic Party that keeps moving left

Sen. John Fetterman told Bill Maher on Friday that he has no plans to leave the Democratic Party, but that staying in it has become an increasingly isolated experience.

The Pennsylvania senator, who has broken with his caucus on a string of high-profile votes this year, described himself as "lonely" inside a party he says has abandoned its own principles on border security, government shutdowns, and the treatment of men.

The remarks, made during an appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher," amount to the latest in a long sequence of public breaks between Fetterman and the progressive wing of his party.

And they raise a question Democrats seem determined not to answer: if a senator who calls himself a "committed Democrat" can't find company inside the tent, how big is the tent, really?

The Hill reported that Fetterman addressed the growing friction head-on, telling Maher he has repeatedly voted against his own caucus on matters he considers fundamental.
"I don't enjoy that, but we used to be a party that would always refuse to shut the government down, and now we, now have shut it down and dropped a lot of mass chaos, and I just couldn't be a part of that."

When are you going to mention that Trump offered him lots of money if he became a Republican? Seems relevant.

It's not relevant the way you stated. Anyone running for office needs plenty of money to run, especially Fetterman who is not changing his party. I'm assuming it would be to his campaign account and the RNC would be behind that but you have to imply the worst like Trump will be stuffing cash in his pocket. Typical of a Democrat.

I didn't imply anything. I said Trump offered him lots of money. He did. You just confirmed it. The question remains why you said nothing about that.

I think we both know, right?

@5:01...you know squat. Didn't know about it, anonymous. I'm not out there hunting for stuff to defame the president which you are doing on an hourly basis it seems.
