Nancy Pelosi’s recent comments defending so-called “gender-affirming care” for children highlight just how out of touch the Democratic Party has become with the American people.

In a rambling interview outside a San Francisco VA hospital, Pelosi struggled to articulate her support for irreversible medical procedures on minors, stammering, “Well, that is something that I’m working for at—at—at the national level… Are hoping that we can have gender-affirming care, uh, for—for our trans kids, and that’s… It—it’s, it’s a sad thing for us.”

Her incoherent defense of these dangerous practices underscores the extremism that has taken over the Democratic Party—a hill they seem determined to die on, no matter how many elections they lose.

The 2024 election was a clear referendum on the Left’s radical gender ideology, and the American people resoundingly rejected it.
