Appeals court greenlights Trump plan to end 'temporary' amnesty for thousands
An appellate court just gave President Donald Trump and his administration the okay to terminate the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) of tens of thousands of illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States.Breitbart News reports that the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued its ruling on Wednesday.
In the process of doing so, the court overturned the decision of Judge Trina Thompson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Thompson is a Biden appointee.
The appellate court decision was 3 to 0.
