Despite years of taxpayer-funded subsidies, these rolling virtue signals are about as popular as a root canal with most Americans.The numbers don’t lie. BEV sales crawled ahead just 12.6% in the first ten months of 2024. That’s hardly the explosive growth the Left promised Americans.
In other words, traditional automakers are struggling to push these things. Meanwhile, smart manufacturers are finally figuring out that Americans want choices. Not lectures from Washington, D.C. bureaucrats about their carbon footprint.
While the Biden administration was busy mandating electric vehicle quotas, smart manufacturers were investing in the future of production.
