Trump’s DOJ makes unprecedented move that previous administrations refused--interviewing Ghislaine Maxwell.
What makes this development even more explosive is that Maxwell’s attorney David Oscar Markus revealed something that should infuriate every American who demanded transparency in the Epstein case.
"This is the first time that the government has asked questions," Markus told reporters. "So we were thankful that the deputy attorney general came and asked her questions. It’s the first time the government did it."
Wait – the first time?
That means the Obama administration, which handled the initial Epstein investigation, never bothered to interview Maxwell about what she knew about other potential co-conspirators.
The Biden administration – which had Maxwell in federal custody for years – never asked her a single question about who else might have been involved in Epstein’s criminal enterprise. [politicalanimalnews]

Bush administration handled the first investigation, not Obama.

The investigation started in 2005...so you are correct. He was sentenced to jail in 2008 for 18 months. That was in Palm Beach County as he didn't get out until 2009. So, he was in jail the first time under Obama. The article was inaccurate.
So do you edit the post or do you just leave it up there quoting the false info and maybe readers will read the comments and see the correct info?
Readers DO read the comments. The supposed "false" information is from the article and it's really not that big of a deal as the meat of the Epstein business was after Bush. My comment is sufficient.
