Trump breaks with Netanyahu over Gaza starvation crisis
President Donald Trump delivered a stunning rebuke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a press conference in Scotland on Monday, directly contradicting his ally’s claims about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. When asked whether he believed Netanyahu’s assertion that "there is no starvation in Gaza," Trump didn’t mince words.
"I don’t know. I mean, based on television, I would say not particularly, because those children look very hungry," Trump told reporters as he met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
But Trump went even further, making a statement that put him in direct opposition to Netanyahu’s public position.
"There is real starvation in Gaza — you can’t fake that," the President declared.

It' not Natanyahu--The debate among Israeli leaders has included Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said in May that Israel cannot let Gaza sink into a famine for “practical and diplomatic reasons,” while other officials like Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s national security minister, have called for aid distribution to be entirely suspended.
