Florida Mango Road to close for emergency sewer repair

Florida Mango Road from north of Boundbrook Blvd./Wellesley Road to south of Palm Road will be closed on Nov. 7 for approximately two weeks for emergency sewer main repair.

Traffic will be detoured via 10th Avenue N., South Congress Avenue, and Forest Hill Boulevard. Local traffic will still be able to get through.

CBS 12 reported on the sewer main line break in April, and Lake Worth Beach Officials said an AT&T worker broke the sewer main when burying a fiber optic cable. The spewing sewage caused part of the road to cave in.
